Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting information systems, analytics, or MIS; 5-10 years substitutable.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures on manual/ automated systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 with advanced Excel.
• Innovative, analytical, and able to work with vendor applications.
• Data mining and ad-hoc reporting experience.
• Experience with Concur, Prologue, Oracle applications, or similar software.
• Understanding of Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Cycles.
• Experience training new hires in system applications.
• Creative and collaborative across departments.
• Strong communication to translate technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the Accounting Deputy Controller and Assistant Controller.
• Establish/modify reporting methods to deliver effective content.
• Design and query databases and financial information as needed.
• Design and manage dashboards for the Accounting Departments.
• Lead new implementations, upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Configure Concur, Oracle ARCS, Oracle FCCS, and Prologue.
• Collaborate to capture and track enhancement requests for efficiency.
• Develop and maintain department projects for live/cyclical reporting.
• Perform system-specific programming for General Ledger and related apps.
• Train new employees in software applications.
• Create process docs and job aids; ensure business continuity.
• Recommend software to comply with new accounting standards.
• Lead business-case development for process optimization and automation.
• Provide input in strategic planning.
• Maintain organizational SharePoint for Accounting.
• Attend regularly and punctually.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
