Job summary

CLA is hiring a Senior - Accounting Methods to join our Federal Tax Strategies team. The role focuses on tax strategies around timing and character of income, expense, capitalization, and cost recovery, including Form 3115 filings to implement strategies.

You will collaborate with leaders across the Firm, analyze client data, and research accounting methods issues to create opportunities for clients. Strong integrity, urgency, and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting/finance or related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• CPA exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult on accounting methods-related issues including automatic and non-automatic changes.
• Conduct research related to accounting methods tax issues.
• Collaborate on accounting methods projects and client data analysis.
• Work with managers, directors and principals across the Firm.
• Coach or mentor staff to develop skills and careers.
• Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
