Brennan Staffing Group Inc. is assisting a growing private equity-backed software company in recruiting a Senior Manager of Accounting.

This role reports to the CFO and leads core accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvements within a fast-scaling SaaS environment. You will oversee close processes, revenue recognition, and a scalable accounting function while partnering with executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required or strongly preferred.
• CPA certification preferred or required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years of public accounting; Big 4 experience preferred.
• Experience in software/SaaS or recurring revenue business.
• Private equity-backed experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Oversee GL, A/P, A/R, Payroll and related functions.
• Review journal entries and reconciliations; perform analyses.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Partner with CFO on monthly reviews and strategic analyses.
• Support investor reporting and private equity communications.
