Job summary

RedStone Construction Group is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Little Rock, AR. The ideal candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and supervise staff.

You should have at least 5 years of accounting experience, strong leadership, and a thorough understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. CPA is preferred but not required, and advanced Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate audits and work with external auditors.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
