ICX Group in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to support the accounting and finance department through process improvements, financial reviews, and leadership development.

You will act as SME on finance initiatives, develop policies and controls, ensure month-end close and reporting, and collaborate with external auditors while coaching and mentoring accountants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• 4+ years of accounting experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

ICX Group is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager for a growing organization who will support the accounting and finance department in various areas including process improvements, financial reviews, and assist leadership in development of team members

Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert on business initiative projects and team members in finance, operations and accounting
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures and controls and help streamline processes
• Ensure accurate month end close and financial reporting
• Work closely with external auditors to ensure successful audit compliance
• Coach, mentor and manage accountants

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• 4+ years Accounting experience
• CPA preferred
• Ability to communicate with diverse personalities in a tactful, mature, and flexible manner
• Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
• Self-motivated and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines.
• High emphasis on teamwork and collaboration with various levels within the organization
• Self-starter who accepts ownership of areas of responsibility
• Must possess excellent attention to detail and be willing and able to meet deadlines which may require overtime
• Initiative and willingness to take on additional responsibilities
• Strong oral and written communication skills to articulate key information
