Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an Accounting Lead to perform general accounting activities, reconcile ledgers, and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements. This role will also analyze transactions and support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

The position reports to an Associate Director of CenterWell Pharmacy Controllership and is fully remote within the United States, with very limited travel for training or meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or a related field.
• 8 or more years of inventory management, accounting, process improvement
• 2 or more years of project leadership experience
• Progressive leadership( formal or informal) and management experience
• Prior experience within the financial industry

Responsibilities

• Prepare, record, analyze and report accounting transactions.
• Ensure integrity of accounting records for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Advise executives on functional strategies and decisions.
