Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an Accounting Lead to perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements. This role involves analyzing and reporting accounting transactions and providing forecasting and budgeting support.

This position is fully remote within the U.S. and travels may be limited based on business need; reports to an Associate Director of CenterWell Pharmacy Controllership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or related field.
• 8+ years in inventory management, accounting or process improvement.
• 2+ years of project leadership experience.
• Progressive leadership and management experience (formal or informal).
• Experience within the financial industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, record, analyze and report accounting transactions.
• Forecast, budget and analyze variations from budget.
• Prepare statutory accounts, financial statements and reports.
• Advise executives to develop functional strategies.
