UL Research Institutes and UL Standards & Engagement in Evanston, IL, is seeking a Senior Accounting Coordinator to support finance operations by processing transactions, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits and close activities in a hybrid work setting.

You will collaborate with departments across the organization to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies, maintain documentation, and contribute to process improvements while handling confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of directly related experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, payments, journal entries, and other transactions accurately.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities with account analysis and documentation.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
