Job summary

Silicon Valley Clean Energy is seeking a Sr. Manager of Accounting to lead our accounting operations, financial reporting, and payroll coordination.

You will partner with Finance, HR, and external vendors to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial management in support of SVCE's mission. In this hybrid role, you will guide close processes, improve internal controls, and oversee audits, while mentoring staff and aligning accounting practices with GASB standards and public-sector

Qualifications

• Experience with GASB standards and public-sector accounting.
• Ability to manage complex accounting operations and controls.
• Proven leadership in hiring, mentoring, and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly and annual close processes and GL integrity.
• Oversee financial statements and GASB reporting.
• Lead external audit coordination and response.
