Job Summary – Corporate Controller, Finance And Administration
Location: San Jose, CA
Lead all worldwide accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Own SEC reporting, including all required filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, etc.).
Ensure SOX 404 compliance and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting.
Serve as primary liaison with external auditors and advisors.
Manage and develop the accounting team across general ledger, revenue, AR/AP, payroll, and technical accounting.
Drive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies within accounting.
Oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606, including review of complex contracts with Sales, Legal, and Operations.
Maintain and update revenue recognition policies and documentation.
Oversee cost accounting for COGS, inventory, and manufacturing variances, partnering with Operations and Supply Chain.
Oversee stock-based compensation and equity accounting, ensuring compliance with ASC 718 and accurate reporting.
Research and implement technical accounting guidance for new or complex transactions.
Maintain company accounting policies and procedures documentation.
Partner with FP&A for forecasting, budgeting, and provide financial insight to executive leadership.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and support company growth in the semiconductor sector.
Requirements: Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, CPA, 10+ years progressive accounting experience (including public company), strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC, SOX, and ASC 606; semiconductor or manufacturing industry background preferred.
