Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC has partnered with a small long-term care/retirement community in Annapolis, MD to hire a Senior Accounting Consultant who will work in-office. The role focuses on treasury management, audits, AR/AP oversight, and month-end close with opportunities to streamline processes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with Sage Intacct.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Sage Intacct experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Treasury management – tracking cash flow, initiating wires.
• Assist with audit.
• AR/AP oversight – support the team.
• Month-end close – accruals, payroll JE’s, account reconciliations.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements.
