• Progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close, GL accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements and management reporting.
• Research and resolve complex accounting and general ledger matters.
• Support external audit requests and preparation of audit schedules.
• Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and close efficiency.
• Partner with finance leadership on accounting initiatives and special projects.
• Support system implementations, integrations, accounting cleanup, and process improvement initiatives as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules
• Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements and management reporting
• Research and resolve complex accounting and general ledger matters
• Support external audit requests and preparation of audit schedules

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Progressive accounting experience within a corporate environment
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Demonstrated experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Experience supporting audits and maintaining effective internal controls
• Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting system skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and effectively partner with cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience within a private equity-backed, high-growth, or evolving corporate environment preferred
• CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred
• Experience with ERP implementations, M&A integration, or finance transformation initiatives is a plus
