Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking a seasoned staff accountant to support financial accounting projects, including budgets, reconciliations, board reporting, and monthly analyses. You will manage the monthly close, prepare journal entries, and interact with clients to ensure timely financial information.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, 3+ years of full-charge experience, and familiarity with multiple accounting systems. Occasional travel to support eastern and central time zones is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of full-charge staff accountant experience.
• 3+ years with computerized accounting systems including GL and financial statements.
• Experience with PointClickCare, Sage Intacct, Yardi, Peachtree or Creative Solutions.
• Payroll tax filings experience.
• Willingness to travel ~5%.

Your role.

• 3+ years minimum experience with computerized accounting systems, including:
  • General ledger through financial statement
  • Experience with PointClickCare or Sage Intacct preferred; Yardi, Peachtree and/or Creative Solutions a plus
  • Fixed assets and depreciation
  • Experience with FX and/or FAS preferred
• Payroll, including preparation of quarterly and annual payroll tax filings
• Travel throughout the eastern and central time zones on occasion with approximately 5% overnight travel

The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA.
