You will lead engagements, mentor juniors, and contribute to business development while strengthening financial operations and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3+ years in public accounting and/or technical accounting.
• Experience in a client-facing or professional services environment.
• Master's, MBA or CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage outsourced accounting close, financial reporting, and monthly accounting processes.
• Assist with policy matters, technical accounting research, audit readiness, and cash-to-accrual conversions.
• Evaluate processes, identify control gaps, improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Work with owners and leadership to understand performance and support decisions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, KPI development, dashboards.
• Build financial models and perform cash flow forecasting and profitability analysis.
• Lead client engagements, mentor staff, and contribute to training.
• Participate in business development and practice growth initiatives.

Senior Accounting Business Advisory Associate

Role

Growing professional services firm is seeking a Financial Advisory Senior Associate to work directly with entrepreneurial businesses and their leadership teams. This role combines auditing with accounting advisory, financial analysis, and business performance improvement. The successful candidate will help business owners make informed decisions, strengthen financial operations, improve reporting, and identify opportunities to grow business value. This position also offers opportunities to lead client engagements, mentor junior professionals, and contribute to business development initiatives. This is for an auditor/accountant that enjoys client facing projects that has a strong technical accounting background - ASC 606, ASC 842, etc.

Responsibilities

• Manage outsourced accounting close, financial reporting, and monthly accounting processes.
• Assist with accounting policy matters, technical accounting research, audit readiness, and cash-to-accrual conversions.
• Evaluate accounting and finance processes, identify control gaps, and recommend improvements to efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Work directly with business owners and leadership teams to understand financial performance and support strategic decisions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, KPI development, and financial dashboards.
• Build financial models and perform cash flow forecasting, profitability analysis, and other decision-support analyses.
• Assist clients with business growth planning, ownership transitions, and other financial initiatives.
• Lead client engagements, manage deliverables, and maintain strong client relationships across multiple industries.
• Mentor junior team members, support professional development, and contribute to internal training and process improvements.
• Participate in business development, relationship building, and other initiatives that support practice growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3+ years in a blend of public accounting and/or technical accounting roles
• Prior experience in a client-facing or professional services environment.
• Master's, MBA or CPA certification are highly preferred by not required

Compensation

A competitive compensation package will be available for this position including a base salary, annual bonus upwards of 30%, as well as a GREAT medical, dental, vision, wellness, a GREAT 401K, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, floating holidays, etc.

Working Situation

4 days in the office, 1 day work remotely (Fridays)
