Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Portland, OR seeks a Senior Program Manager to join the Corporate Accounting Enterprise Program Office (CAEPO) and drive automation initiatives across the Accounting organization, supporting scalable solutions and stronger financial controllership during the month-end close.

You will partner with global accounting teams, translate complex requirements into technical designs, manage cross-functional projects, and lead testing and rollout of automation tools while

Qualifications

• 5+ years in finance or a related analytical field.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• Knowledge of COSO internal control framework and GAAP principles.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to influence automation design and implementation with financial best practices.
• Gather and document detailed accounting requirements and drive prioritization of technical deliverables.
• Define project plans, identify risks, and oversee end-to-end program delivery.
• Lead pre-launch testing and readiness assessments for automation initiatives.
• Coordinate across global accounting teams to standardize processes and maintain financial control.
• Oversee testing, SOPs, and performance metrics for system changes.
