Qualifications

• Active professional credential (CPA/CA/CIA/CFE/CMA) with a degree in accounting or related field.
• 4+ years of substantive accounting or audit experience at a recognized institution.
• Genuine specialization in at least one domain (external audit, GAAP/IFRS, internal audit/SOX, tax, or revenue recognition).
• Senior level progression with ownership of engagements or reporting cycles.
• Hands-on use of large language models in professional work and sound judgment to distinguish correct from plausible-sounding wrong answers.
• Availability to commit to 40 h/week for an initial 6-month engagement.
• Bay Area, CA residency with on-site work; willingness to relocate at own cost if not local.
• Excellent written communication and ability to provide precise, structured feedback.

Responsibilities

• QA and review accounting and audit knowledge work tasks and model outputs.
• Write instruction specs and golden solutions for accounting/audit problems.
• Design and implement benchmarks and domain-specific evaluation sets.
• Calibrate standards with client researchers to ensure consistent criteria.
