Job summary

Capital One’s Controllers Accounting Organization seeks a Senior Associate in McLean, VA to contribute to accounting, financial analysis and process improvements. You will collaborate with Finance, business partners, auditors and the broader Controllers group to drive accuracy and efficiency.

You will engage with data visualization and data manipulation tools to enhance analytics, manage multiple priorities, and support enterprise initiatives while pursuing continuous learning and professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting, external financial reporting, audit or finance, or a combination.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, external financial reporting, audit or finance, or a combination.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with Finance and key business partners, associates throughout the Controllers group, tax, and external and internal auditors.
• Support automation efforts of team’s processes to help drive efficiencies, enhanced controls, and/or improved accuracy and quality of deliverables.
• Participate in change initiatives by supporting line of business efforts and enterprise initiatives.
• Participate in continuous learning opportunities
• Contribute to the On Demand Finance vision and goals
