Job summary

CLA is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate - Construction Industry for our Appleton, WI office. You will support client accounting within the CAAS group, handling day-to-day transactions and month-end activities for multiple construction-industry clients.

Requirements include 2 years of accounting/financial experience and a Bachelor's degree; a combination of related experience and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree. CLA offers wellness and comprehensive benefits.

• 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops understanding of each client’s business/organization operations. Manages multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts daily/weekly/monthly.
• Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts and payroll postings.
