Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA designation completed or actively pursuing preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Experience reviewing financial records, reconciliations, and workpapers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software platforms.
• Desire to grow into a future leadership or management role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform financial statement preparation and review engagements
• Assist clients with month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review complex account reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Research and apply accounting guidance to complex accounting matters
• Support clients with technical accounting, financial reporting and compliance needs
• Mentor and develop junior accounting staff
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor
• Assist managers and leadership with special projects and client initiatives
