Job summary

Jump Trading Group is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to manage global centralized accounting functions, including month-end close, reconciliations, and consolidations across multiple entities. You will also analyze spend, maintain GAAP-compliant books, and drive efficiency in financial processes from our Chicago office.

The role reports to the Accounting Director, with a requirement to be in the office at least 4 days per week, and offers a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• CPA certification is preferred or in progress.
• 4+ years of accounting experience in a multi-entity environment with close ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Oversee automated reconciliations and cash activity processes.
• Perform variance analysis to explain movements in monthly results.
• Support intercompany and equity consolidation processes.
• Engage in process improvement and ad hoc analyses.
• Assist auditors and tax teams with required schedules and documentation.
• Contribute to finance automation initiatives and tooling improvements.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
