Job summary

LKQ Corporation seeks a skilled accounting professional to support monthly close and the timely preparation of financial statements. You will lead general accounting activities, reconcile ledgers, and ensure compliance with accounting policies and principles.

The role includes budgeting support, management reporting, and preparation of external disclosures as required, with opportunities for growth within a collaborative environment. Strong knowledge of Excel and financial systems is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of related experience required; Fully competent professional; In-depth knowledge and experience.
• CPA certification preferred; corporate accounting experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead general accounting activities, including ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare, record, analyze, and report accounting transactions with integrity and compliance.
• Conduct month-end functions and ensure accuracy of close processes.
• Coordinate implementation of accounting control procedures and improve processes.
• Support budgeting, management reporting, and external disclosures as needed.
