Job summary

Talent Elite Group is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to support a New Acquisitions/Special Projects team. The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, multi-entity experience, and a proven track record with full cycle month-end close.

The position combines hybrid work with in-office days after training, reporting to the Accounting Manager, and contributing to financial planning and timely reporting for a healthcare client. Strong Excel and VBA skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of GAAP experience and regulatory knowledge.
• Experience with full cycle month-end close.
• Extensive Excel experience especially PowerQuery and Macros; VBA experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely financial records, reconcile financial data, and contribute to the organization's strategic financial planning.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP and healthcare industry standards; accrual accounting, prepaids, fixed assets, revenue recognition.
• Manage full cycle month-end and year-end closing process, including balance sheet reconciliation, P&L, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Examine daily bank transactions, AR, AP and payroll, and post necessary transactions to the facility ledger.
• Ensure accurate posting of intercompany and subsidiary transactions to maintain clean facility ledgers.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliation and schedule of expenses on a monthly basis.
• Respond to audit requests, perform variance and flux analysis, and support external auditors.
• Reconcile credit card charges/statements and verify expenses with proper documentation.
• Review daily banking activity and reconcile transactions across AR, AP, payroll, and cash accounts for multiple facilities.

Our large scale healthcare client is seeking a Sr. Accounting Analyst to join their team. This role will sit on their New Acquisitions/ Special Projects Team.

Senior Accounting Analyst Requirements:

• Extensive Excel Experience esp. with PowerQuery and Macros
• VBA experience required
• Multi-Entity experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or a related field
• 5+ years of experience with interpreting and applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and other regulatory requirements
• Experience with working on the full cycle month-end close

Senior Accounting Analyst Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and timely financial records, reconcile financial data, and contribute to the organization's strategic financial planning
• Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and healthcare industry standards; accrual accounting, prepaids, fixed assets, revenue recognition

Monthly Closing and Reconciliation

• Manage full cycle month-end and year-end closing process, including but not limited to Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation, P&L, journal entries, and financial reporting
