Ignited Recruiting, a respected advisory firm in Chicago, seeks experienced accounting professionals for project-based consulting roles. This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive base compensation plus incentives.

Ideal candidates have strong public accounting and corporate finance experience, CPA preferred, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements with speed and accuracy. You will contribute to diverse projects such as FP&A, technical accounting, and IPO readiness

Qualifications

• 3+ years of total experience in external audit, advisory, corporate accounting, and/or corporate finance.
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting required.
• CPA licensed or in process preferred.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and business acumen.
• Experience with publicly traded companies/clients.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, client-facing roles.
• No external audit work — exclusive advisory cross accounting and finance functions.

Responsibilities

• Support clients through strategic finance and technical accounting projects.
• Lead initiatives such as fund accounting and general ledger close improvements.
• Provide FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting support.
• Contribute to ASC 606/ASC 842 and SEC reporting tasks.
• Assist with IPO readiness and public company transformation.
• Support M&A preparation and integration.
