Qualifications

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting concepts.
• Advanced knowledge of the accounting cycle and month-end close.
• Experience reviewing work and coaching staff for improvement.
• Ability to explain complex accounting concepts to clients clearly.
• Proven track record in client advisory and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary accounting contact for an assigned client portfolio.
• Review monthly financial statements and reconcile accounts.
• Coach and onboard Accounting Associates; ensure standard procedures.
• Explain financial performance and trends to business owners.
• Identify process improvements and opportunities for advisory services.
• Oversee multiple client engagements with deadlines and quality.
