Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly bookkeeping and accounting services for small business clients.
• Review and categorize bank and credit card transactions and perform reconciliations.
• Complete bank, credit card, and other balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare and maintain accounting workpapers and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
• Review general ledger activity for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Identify missing information, outstanding transactions, or discrepancies that require additional research.
• Gather and organize client documentation needed to complete accounting projects.
• Assist accounting professionals with cleanup projects, special projects, and other client accounting needs.
• Learn and utilize Xero, QuickBooks Online, and other accounting technology platforms.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
