Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Senior Accountant – Venues to join the Finance Controllership team in Norwalk, CT. This role focuses on venue accounting, balance sheets, P&L, and cash flows, ensuring accuracy of major accounts and strengthening internal controls across a multi-entity structure.

The ideal candidate holds a accounting/finance degree, 3–5 years of experience, and a CPA is preferred. Proficiency in ERP systems and BI tools is highly valued, with a hybrid 4-day in-office expectation in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of accounting/finance experience, including consolidation and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, consolidations, and general ledger principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP); BI reporting tools a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across venue operations.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions, eliminations, and balances.
• Ensure credit card transactions are recorded timely and accurately.
• Prepare reporting packages for venue finance teams.
• Reconcile key balance sheet accounts monthly (cash, intercompany, fixed assets).
• Reconcile P&L accounts and investigate variances.
• Collaborate across teams to clear reconciling items.
• Leverage ERP, consolidation software, and BI tools to automate reporting.
• Support internal and external audit requests related to reporting and controls.
