Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with focus in Accounting.
5+ years of accounting experience.
CPA / Certified Accountant preferred.
US GAAP experience required.

Responsibilities

Reconciles and reviews general ledger, debtor’s ledger, creditors ledger, and fixed assets for accuracy and compliance.
Performs month-end closing activities and ensures timely financial close.
Prepares depreciation schedules and reviews fixed asset records.
Coordinates and assists with year-end audits per policy and regulations.
Analyzes accounting systems and suggests process improvements for efficiency.
Maintains and reports on general ledgers and financial statements for management decision-making.
Reviews creditor and debtor payment runs and updates master files.
Ensures US GAAP compliance across North America entities.
