Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting/Finance team. This role ensures accuracy of financial records, supports timely reporting, and partners with operational leaders on strategic initiatives.

You will own month-end close, reconciliations, inventory costing, budgeting support, internal controls, and compliance with GAAP. The role offers exposure to multi-location operations and opportunities to drive process improvements and system implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end and year-end close.
• Analyze financial results, identify trends, risks and opportunities.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting/Finance team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records while supporting operational leaders and management with timely financial reporting and insights.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with strong accounting expertise and a desire to contribute beyond traditional accounting functions. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the business and partner closely with leadership on strategic and operational initiatives.Position SummaryThe Senior Accountant will be responsible for key accounting processes including month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and support of budgeting and forecasting activities.
