Job summary

TLA is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant (Level V) to act as a financial subject matter expert responsible for the preparation, analysis, and reconciliation of financial statements, tax returns, and general ledger activity. This role provides strategic financial leadership and supports senior Agency management with accurate, auditable reporting.

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and hold a Government Security Clearance with a polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience in financial management, accounting operations, auditing, and fiscal control.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, analysis, and reconciliation of financial statements and ledgers.
• Support agency financial statements and reporting to senior leadership.
• Develop financial policies, procedures and program metrics.
• Prepare briefings and supporting documentation for oversight bodies.
