UnCommon Farms LLC is seeking a Temporary Senior Accountant to perform full-cycle accounting using QuickBooks Online and other client-selected software. You will ensure GAAP compliance, review client transactions, and coach client staff while reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements.

The role requires 7–10 years of accounting experience in agricultural or multi-entity settings, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with ERP tools such as AgManager or AgVero.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; master’s degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of accounting experience in agricultural, multi-entity/intercompany, and payroll.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel; ERP tools such as AgManager/AgVero are a plus.
• Strong GAAP knowledge with high accuracy across priorities.
• Experience leading virtual client meetings; CPA license desired and QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Review client-transactions weekly, correct coding errors and coach client staff.
• Reconcile cash, loans, intercompany and balance sheet accounts; align financials with client tax returns.
• Process payroll and payroll tax payments; ensure year-end filings readiness.
• Prepare budgets and budget-to-actuals; lead quarterly financial review calls with clients.

As the Temporary Senior Accountant, you’ll:

• Deliver full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and financial statements, in QuickBooks Online and other client-selected software, in line with GAAP.
• Review client-entered transactions weekly, correcting coding errors and coaching client staff to prevent repeat issues.
• Reconcile cash, loan, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts, and reconcile the financials to the client’s tax return.

• Prepare budgets and budget-to-actual comparisons, and lead quarterly financial review calls that turn results into clear insights for clients.

What We’re Looking For

• ~ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; master’s degree preferred.
• ~7–10 years of accounting experience; agricultural, multi-entity/intercompany, and payroll experience preferred.
• ~ Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel; experience with AgManager, AgVero, or other ERP software is a plus.
• ~ Strong command of GAAP, with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail across multiple priorities.
• ~ Confidence leading virtual client meetings; CPA license desired and QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification a plus.
