UnCommon Farms LLC in Illinois is seeking a Temporary Senior Accountant to deliver full-cycle accounting for a dedicated client book, with potential for a longer engagement. You will handle the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial statements using QuickBooks Online and other client-selected software, while ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; master’s degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of accounting experience; agricultural, multi-entity/intercompany, and payroll experience preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel; ERP software experience (AgManager, AgVero) is a plus.
• Strong command of GAAP with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• CPA license desired and QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification a plus.

Mansioni

• Deliver full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and financial statements, in QuickBooks Online and other client-selected software, in line with GAAP.
• Review client-entered transactions weekly, correcting coding errors and coaching client staff to prevent repeat issues.
• Reconcile cash, loan, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts, and reconcile the financials to the client’s tax return.
• Process payroll and payroll tax payments, keeping records accurate and ready for year-end filings.
• Prepare budgets and budget-to-actual comparisons, and lead quarterly financial review calls that turn results into clear insights for clients.
