Job summary

The Foundation for Catholic Education in Philadelphia is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the accounting function, ensure accuracy, and protect confidential financial information.

Reporting to an Accounting Manager, you will manage day-to-day operations, prepare monthly reports, and collaborate with the Office of Catholic Education to strengthen financial planning.

4+ years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and strong Excel/QuickBooks skills are required.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Efficiently manage multiple projects and competing priorities with strong time-management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office with strong Excel experience.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks and general ledgers.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial controls.
• Maintains confidentiality and professional demeanor in all work.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting support for the Foundation and OCE with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Manage day-to-day financial operations of the Strategic Planning Assistance Team process.
• Assist with review of financial reports including Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Projection, Actual vs Budget Analysis, and Budget.
