Position Purpose

In this role, you will be a key member of the Regulatory Reporting Group responsible for all statutory financial reporting, including:

1. Completing quarterly and annual NAIC filings, ensuring compliance with NAIC and other regulatory requirements for entities across various states and lines of business (Marketplace, Medicare, Medicaid).
2. Preparing supplemental pages and schedules, coordinating data collection from internal partners for quarterly and annual submissions.
3. Working closely with internal partners and external auditors to complete annual legal entity external audits.
4. Preparing MD&A including year-over-year variance analysis reporting.
5. Generating and recording statutory entries to the general ledger for assigned entities.
6. Assisting with DOI examinations and preparing draft responses to inquiries.
7. Supporting department projects, including process improvements.
8. Developing positive relationships with team managers and business partners such as Treasury, Tax, and GAAP reporting.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in public accounting or healthcare.
• Statutory accounting/reporting experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills are preferred.

Additional Details

Pay Range: $68,700 - $123,700 per year.
