Job summary

Nextpower is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional for SEC reporting, technical accounting, quarterly and annual close, and external audit support. You will work closely with Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Investor Relations, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate disclosures and high-quality reporting under U.S.

GAAP. The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, process improvements, and collaboration within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Min of five years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement presentation.
• Experience with quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with quarterly and annual SEC reports (10-Q/10-K).
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures per U.S. GAAP.
• Support SEC filings (8-K, registration statements) as applicable.
• Assist in quarterly earnings materials and external communications.
• Prepare schedules, tie-outs, and documentation for SEC filings.
• Perform tie-outs to GL and consolidation system; maintain audit trails.
• Coordinate with external auditors and cross-functional teams.
