Job summary

Albany International Corp. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting (CAFR) team in Portsmouth, NH.

You will report to the Assistant Controller and support month‑end close, consolidation, and both internal and external financial reporting, including SEC disclosures. Required are a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a CPA or pursuing licensure, and 2+ years in public accounting or 4+ years corporate accounting, with SAP and Workiva experience preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license or actively pursuing licensure.
• Minimum 2 years public accounting or 4 years corporate accounting experience.
• Experience with SAP and Workiva preferred.
• Knowledge of SEC reporting regulations and SOX.
• Team‑player mindset with strong ethics and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support month‑end close activities for CAFR.
• Assist with internal and external financial reporting, including SEC filings.
• Perform account reconciliations and consolidate cash flows.
• Contribute to SOX controls and internal control improvements.
• Participate in SAP Group Reporting implementation and other system changes.
• Collaborate with auditors and cross‑functional teams.
