Job summary

Accountants One, on behalf of a publicly traded technology client in Alpharetta, seeks an Accounting Manager, Consolidation and Reporting Systems. This corporate role owns the global close, consolidation, and intercompany elimination process for a multinational public company, serving as the primary owner of the consolidation and reporting systems landscape.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting and finance experience, preferably within a multinational public company.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong experience in financial close management, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations.
• IBM Cognos Controller experience required; SAP and Apliqo experience preferred.
• Experience supporting public company reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, half-year, and annual financial close and consolidation process
• Execute intercompany/equity eliminations, FX translation adjustments, and consolidation journal entries
• Prepare consolidated balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reporting packages
• Support SEC and statutory reporting with consolidation schedules and supporting documentation
• Serve as finance process owner for consolidation and reporting systems
• Drive process automation, standardization, and close acceleration initiatives
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors on consolidation and close activities
• Support SOX compliance and internal control requirements

Accountants One is working with a publicly traded technology client based in Alpharetta on an Accounting Manager, Consolidation and Reporting Systems search.

This corporate role owns the global financial close, consolidation, and intercompany elimination process for a multinational public company, while serving as the primary owner of the consolidation and reporting systems landscape.
