Job summary

Alliance Resource Group in Corona, CA is seeking a Senior Accountant to participate in the monthly and quarterly closing process and assist in the preparation of the Company’s SEC filings. The role requires applying GAAP to analyze financial information and prepare accurate and timely financial reports while maintaining strict confidentiality and integrity.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 3+ years of accounting experience (public accounting preferred), and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3+ years accounting experience; public accounting experience required
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Excel

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly/quarterly closing process, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist with consolidations, inter-company transactions and foreign currency accounting
• Assist in preparation and timely filing of SEC reports (Form 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K) and other filings
• Produce organized work papers to support SEC filings
• Assist with year-end audits
• Perform special projects as required
