In this role, you will:

  • Support the quarterly close process and assist with the preparation of the Company's quarterly Form 10-Q and annual Form 10-K with the SEC (i.e., preparation and tie out of footnote disclosures; coordinate internal deliverables listing and receipt), and support the Company's quarterly earnings release process.
  • Develop relationships and work closely with business partners in the various Finance departments in order to provide accounting and business support, including research and recommendations on SEC Reporting issues as well as implementation of accounting changes.
  • Prepare key quarterly deliverables including rounding sheet, balance sheet analytics and disclosure checklist.
  • Attend quarterly 10-K and MD&A review meetings with business leaders in functional accounting and corporate finance departments.
  • Support special project work as needed and other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
  • Provide support to internal and external audit activities, including providing and coordinating deliverables.

What we look for:

  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting standards, accounting policies and financial statements, and research skills
  • Strong attention to detail resulting in consistently reliable, accurate and thorough work product
  • Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills, as well as business writing skills
  • Strong project management skills, including ability to work effectively in teams and influence and lead cross-functional projects
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively with strong planning and task organizational skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and proactive
  • Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Office suite (primarily Word and Excel)
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements, as well as proactively creating opportunities for improvement
  • Wdesk (SEC filing tool by Workiva), SAP or other ERP systems experience preferred
  • Big 4 or public accounting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Actively licensed CPA, preferred
