Job summary

Ledgent-Finance- in Windsor, CT area is seeking a Senior Accountant for a fully in-office role with a premier design and manufacturing company specializing in building façade systems.

You will support the Controller with day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting, while leveraging SAP and advanced Excel for analysis and reporting accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with general ledger entries and month-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Coordinate audits with external auditors and prepare required schedules.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation calculations.
• Prepare federal, state, and local tax filings.
• Proficient with SAP and advanced Excel for financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support Controller in day-to-day accounting operations and close processes.
• Prepare and analyze journal entries, reconciliations, and GL activity for US GAAP.
• Coordinate annual audits with auditors and provide schedules and docs.
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules and reporting.
• Prepare and review tax filings to ensure compliance.
• Analyze financial results and suggest process improvements.
