Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area required.
• 4+ years of professional accounting experience; mining/industrial exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls (SOX) is essential.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and work with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with SAP, Power BI, Excel and Business Objects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee month-end close processes and reconcile accounts.
• Analyze financial operations and suggest policy improvements.
• Support audit preparation with schedules and reconciliations.
• Provide training and guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
