SimplePractice LLC in Oregon seeks an experienced accounting professional to own key close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and the accounting treatment of new business initiatives. You will partner with Finance, Legal, Product, and Engineering to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role requires 4+ years of public accounting or industry experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with Excel and NetSuite.

Competenze

• 4+ years of relevant public accounting and/or industry experience.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and the ability to research and document complex accounting topics.
• Experience with internal controls, including design, implementation, and execution.
• Excellent Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets.

Mansioni

• Plan and perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses, and internal management reporting.
• Research and document technical accounting positions for new accounting pronouncements and business initiatives.
• Draft and maintain accounting policies and procedural documentation.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide clear variance explanations to key stakeholders.
• Support the design, implementation, and execution of internal control procedures.
• Help build scalable accounting processes to support company growth, including identifying opportunities for automation.
• Partner with Product, Systems, Treasury, Tax, People, and Legal on financial systems and process improvements.
• Support external audit requests and provide supporting schedules and analysis as needed.
