Job summary

Rad AI is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to own core accounting operations, including close, reconciliations, payroll, and spend management. You’ll collaborate across FP&A, People Operations, and other partners to strengthen controls in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

The role reports to the Director of Accounting and focuses on scalable processes, audit readiness, and proactive issue resolution. Join us to shape healthcare AI finance and impact millions of patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of month-end close and reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement analysis.
• Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, and schedules.
• Attention to detail with ability to balance accuracy and deadlines.
• Excellent Excel or Google Sheets skills for large datasets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Own areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage payroll accounting, including bonuses, benefits, and liabilities.
• Oversee accounts payable, vendor onboarding, and spend-management controls.
• Support audits and tax filings with schedules and documentation.
• Develop and document accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve close efficiency and accuracy.
• Proactively resolve accounting issues and communicate findings.
