American Greetings in Westlake, Ohio, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, royalty accounting processes, and GL reconciliations. The role requires applying GAAP and delivering accurate monthly closes in a collaborative cross-functional environment.

You'll work with Divisional Sales, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Licensing, and ensure data integrity across Oracle, SAP, and Blackline, performing tie-outs and journal entries.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA certification highly preferred.
• 2+ years public and/or industry accounting with experience in general ledger work, analysis, reconciliations and internal control compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle preferred); BlackLine & BPC experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Maintain and analyze divisional sales databases to support business operations.
• Execute standard monthly journal entries, including Returns & Allowance accruals, cash adjustments, and tax accruals within Oracle and SAP.
• Manage and maintain documentation for retailer contractual allowance terms in collaboration with Divisional Sales.
• Perform monthly system tie-outs between Oracle and SAP to ensure data consistency.
• Perform quarterly and annual financial write-ups and conduct BPC-to-SAP system verifications.
• Maintain SAP system integrity by clearing errors, updating seasonal return rates, and assisting with annual system updates.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual Net Sales reporting and variance analysis.
• Calculate and process timely, accurate royalty advance payments and statements for authors, artists, and licensors.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly royalty journal entries, including intercompany transactions.
• Complete monthly account reconciliations for royalty accounts.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Royalties Analyst, Licensing, and Accounts Payable teams.
