Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience preparing income tax returns for a mid to large corporation and/or for a public accounting firm.
• 1+ year of tax provision experience, including preparation of journal entries preferred.
• Experience using tax compliance software and research tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, international, and state/local income tax returns.
• Prepare quarterly federal, state and local tax estimates.
• Utilize tax compliance and provision software (Corptax and OneSource) and SAP to improve accuracy.
• Communicate with other departments to gather information for accurate returns on time.
• Prepare and review deferred and current tax provisions and related journal entries; monthly tax balance sheet reconciliation.
• Assist with taxing authority examinations and notices; support data gathering for information requests.
• Research tax issues using third party tools and interpret new tax laws and their impact on the company.
• Complete ad-hoc projects as assigned.
