The Senior Accountant role at UHS focuses on Net Revenue calculations for selected FEDs and related MFR variance explanations reported to Acute Regional Finance. It includes TX-OK region reconciliations and corrections, and acting as the primary resource for daily/monthly Accounting/AR/AP/PFS & Supply Chain processes.

It also coordinates Internal & External Audits, maintains certain balance sheet schedules, participates in the annual budget, and handles various close-related tasks with accuracy

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Three or more years of experience in Accounting, within a Healthcare setting is preferred
• Proficient in Account Analysis required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Powerpoint & Excel, with emphasis on Pivots & Smart View functions.
• Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare Net Revenue calculations for selected FEDs and explain variances.
• Prepare TX-OK Region-specific reconciliations and corrections as necessary.
• Serve as primary resource to Accountants for daily and monthly Accounting/AR/AP/PFS & Supply Chain processes.
• Coordinate Internal & External Audit requests.
• Serve as primary contact for CBO Patient Refunds expedited requests.
• Participate in Annual Budget preparation.
• Maintain employee sign-on bonus and escheat schedules.
• Assist with month-end review of schedules prepared by Accountants.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
