Francisco Partners seeks a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team, focusing on credit memo reserves, special reserves, and related credit accounting functions.

The team handles Revenue and Accounts Receivable with GAAP oversight and provides visibility to business leadership.

The ideal candidate combines solid accounting fundamentals with data analytics experience to build models and automate large datasets, then apply sound accounting judgment to the results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in accounting.
• Strong GAAP and SOX knowledge with ability to translate large datasets into audit-ready information.
• Experience building data models and automating accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain credit memo and AR reserves in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for reserve balances for internal reviews and audits.
• Distinguish revenue concessions from AR write-offs and apply correct accounting treatment.
• Analyze financial data to verify accuracy and identify trends.
• Support month-end close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Build and maintain repeatable data workflows (Power Query, SQL) for close and reporting.
• Integrate data from ERP, billing, CRM, and data warehouse systems and ensure data lineage.
• Collaborate with internal/external auditors and IT/BI teams on data models and reports.
