Job summary

HB Wealth is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. This role can be based in Towson, MD; Tampa, FL; or Charlotte, NC, with the option to work remotely up to 40%.

You will own day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, and revenue recognition. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA progression, 3–5 years of experience, advanced Excel skills, and a strong GAAP background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• CPA or progress toward CPA certification required.
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience with a strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with financial data across multiple systems.
• Willingness to adopt AI assisted processes.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
