Job summary

Transforming Age seeks a Senior Accountant to support the General Ledger, monthly closes, and financial reporting for a nonprofit network of residences and services. You will analyze complex data, prepare reports for auditors and regulators, and ensure GAAP compliance.

The role involves journal entries, reconciliations, and coordination with executives and facility heads. CPA preferred; Workday experience is a plus, with benefits including medical, vision, dental, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• CPA strongly preferred; multi-state tax accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support general ledger, month-end close and financial statement reporting.
• Perform journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations; ensure proper segregation of duties.
• Assist on tax filings, cost reports and audit preparation; analyze and report variances.
• Provide accounting support to executive director and department heads; act as internal consultant for complex issues.
• Promote accuracy, efficiency and compliance across processes; identify improvements.
