Job summary

SNI Financial partners with a Dallas‑area Real Estate development & Investment firm to hire a Senior Accountant. This role supports GAAP reporting and the monthly close while expanding into real estate, development, and investment accounting.

Transition from public accounting into industry is encouraged, with a path toward broader financial operations. You'll leverage audit and GAAP foundations, gain hands‑on experience across operations, and collaborate with Finance, Operations, and leadership

Qualifications

• 2+ busy seasons in public accounting, Big 4 or regional CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Exposure to real estate, investment clients, or property accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own key components of the monthly close process.
• Support financial reporting and GAAP compliance.
• Gain exposure to operational accounting, investment accounting, and real estate development activities.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies.
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and business leadership.
• Expand beyond audit into the day-to-day financial operations of a growing investment organization.
