LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established real estate private equity firm in Palm Beach Gardens to hire a Senior Accountant. This role offers ownership of financial reporting, exposure to real estate development, and career growth within an established team.

The ideal candidate brings full-cycle accounting, project accounting, and ERP system experience, with a preference for real estate accounting. A hybrid schedule and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience at Senior level or higher.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Full-cycle accounting experience including GL management, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with project accounting, budgeting, cash flow reporting, or cost analysis.
• Real estate development/construction/investment accounting preferred.
• ERP/accounting systems experience with Sage/Timberline or Yardi.
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and cross-functional collaboration ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for real estate projects/assets.
• Prepare journal entries, GL reconciliations, month-end close, and quarterly statements.
• Track development costs, budgets, vendor commitments, contracts, and expenses.
• Prepare cash flow schedules, compare budgets vs actual, and support forecasting.
• Collaborate with asset managers, investment teams, JV partners, and ownership groups.
• Assist with acquisitions, sales, refinancing, and ownership distributions.
• Review construction draws, vendor invoices, and payment approvals.
• Prepare analyses, schedules, and management reports.
• Support year-end audits, financial documentation, and internal reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting accuracy.
